"Enriching the Community We Love"
Est. 1974, Landlovers' goal is to further enhance community life through philanthropic, social and cultural activities.
Meet people, have fun, and delight in life at The Landings—with more than 25 activities for you to enjoy—from bridge to mah jongg, lunching with the gals, discussing books, exploring our city, and kayaking around Skidaway. Enjoy signature socials—Holiday Luncheon, Winter Social, Croquet & Cocktails, and season Closing Event.
Each year, Landlovers organizes six major fund-raising events: Flea Market, Auctionmania, Artisan Market, Gourmet Pantry, Holiday Card Sales and a Home or Garden Tour. The money is distributed annually through 1) Grants to organizations that serve Skidaway Island, 2) Scholarships to Landings Association and Company employees and their dependents for higher education, and 3) Community service merit awards to high school students who live here.
Members give their time and talent to organize fundraisers and hundreds of Landings residents volunteer to help with the events. Significant grants have been awarded to First Responders, TLA Recycling, the Village Library, the Nature Trail, and University of Georgia Marine Extension. 40+ organizations have benefited from grants of close to $1 million in the past 10 years alone.
